Looking Closer

I want to explore new techniques with this quilt - mosaics and quilting text.  Bother were effective contributors to one of my favourite quilts.  Each of these tree motifs were ‘wrapped’ in a well known phrase or proverb about trees.  The quilting lines echoed the curves of the Betula Pendula trees to keep the movement flowing.
