Ice-dyed Pima cotton. Double layer of wool and cotton wadding.  Glide threads. Mijuki seed bead embellishment.

Pieced and then hand guided free motion quilted on a longarm quilting machine.

​Looking Closer

This colourful cloth brought me near to the earth of my ancestors.  The ammonites are so magnificent and hold feelings of both movement and longevity.
